Join us for volunteer orientation and dog handler training for the upcoming UP200, Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30 sled dog races. Spectators are welcome to come learn about the races.

This outdoor event will be held near the front entrance to the Northern Center. The session will last approximately an hour with plenty of time for questions.
Experienced mushers and our dog handler coordinator will share race information and how to be an effective dog handler.Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Dress warmly and please note that NMU requires wearing a mask when in close proximity to other people.
