Welcome to Meridian, a new sponsor for the 2022 races! Meridian is a government healthcare insurance service organization serving Michigan and Illinois. Their mission is to lead in government-sponsored healthcare programs in collaboration with their members, providers, and government partners.
Meridian Director of Communications Megan Slaven says Meridian came on board as a sponsor in order to support the economic growth and health of our northern communities. Dog sled racing pulls from a place of history that explores the beautiful terrain of the U.P., taking us back to earlier times.
