The Marquette Noon Kiwanis invites children, their parents, and their family dogs to join us at the Marquette Commons for the 27th Annual Kiddie Mutt Races on Saturday, February 19th. Sponsored by the Marquette Pediatric Dentistry and the Marquette Downtown Development Authority, the races give children the opportunity to mush our 50-yard trail in a dogsled with their own dog leading the way.
Registration opens at 11:00 am at the Commons on Third Street. Racing runs from 11:30 am 1:00 pm. If you dont have a dog you are still welcome to join us. Some dog owners bring their dogs to the event and share them with our racers. Come for the fun as kids give mushing a try!
