Gwinn will host the start of the Midnight Run. The mushers and teams will assemble in the parking lot of Larry's Family Foods on M-35. Mushers will begin the race with the first musher leaving the chute at 6:00 p.m. Ample viewing, parking and restaurants can be found in Gwinn.
Gwinn will feature the start of the Midnight Run as well as the start of the Jack Pine 30 Race, scheduled for Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.

As a reminder, the very next morning at 10 a.m. the Jackpine 30 Mushers, sponsored by F.A. Bell Memorial Hospital will be starting from Gwinn for their race.
Gwinn is located on M-35 and can be easily driven to from Marquette by following M-553 south. Mapquest routes you through M-35 south to Gwinn but it is much easier to follow M-553.
