CASE SOLVED

THIS INFORMATION IS CONFIDENTIAL - DON'T TELL ANYONE.  I am happy to report that the case has been solved. Late last night, I got a call from the Snowman. Snowman overheard a stray dog discussing the race with some of his friends. Turns out that the formula was left laying deep in the woods by one of the lead dog teams for a secondary team to retrieve.

As soon as I heard this, I contacted Dr. Tim. He quickly responded by turning his team around and going after the formula. I told him to tell the officials that he was simply tired of racing. So he did. He recovered the formula and it is now safe once again. That's what really happened during the race.

I want to thank all the spies who helped me with this case. Congratulations to the dogs pulling Mark Churchill in the Jack Pine 30, Don Galloway in the Midnight Run and Ed Stielstra in the U.P. 200.
