Yukon's Race Log

Sam with Cohort

This is a friend of mine. To others he appears as simply a snowman. But he is actually a lookout who provides information to me. He can be anywhere and no one suspects that he is working.

One thing though, the snowman gets a little aggravated about yellow snow. Try to remember that if you see him around.

He will be telling me all about the competing dogs this year and about their mushers. Several of the mushers I intend to keep a pretty close eye on. The Stielstra team dogs are particularly suspicious, I mean, interesting. Did you know they go to the Iditarod after the U.P. 200? Yep.

It's time for me and the snowman to get to work. I'll be making reports as the we get closer to race time. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled. I have always found that younger people make excellent spies, oh I mean fans.

Sam and Snowman

Talk to you soon,

Sam Yukon
