The Jack Pine 30

The Jack Pine 30 is scheduled for February 16th, 2008, with their major sponsor historically being BELL HOSPITAL in Ishpeming . The Jack Pine 30 is a competitive, 6 dog sportsman’s class race which provides mushers with a challenging 30 mile course.  This race is governed by the Jack Pine Mushers Association with the UPSDA lending support in the way of trail grooming. The Jack Pine 30 is a trophy class event with awards going to finishers placing first through eighth.

WARM UP PARTY at Up Front and Company on Lake Shore Drive (adjacent to finish line/musher parking), Marquette is usually scheduled from 11:30 am to 5 pm. This makes a GREAT place to have dinner on Saturday evening after a day of watching the mushers compete.  View mushers from behind Upfront or from the Upfront balcony -- a super place to watch the finish and visit with JP30 mushers. Food (pizza slices, pasties, snacks, etc.) are available at special prices.
