UPSDA Seeks Nominations for Board of Directors

Do you get excited every year as the sled dog races come around? Are you interested in
becoming involved as an insider to one of the biggest winter events in the Marquette – Alger
region? If yes, a position on the Board of Directors for the UP Sled Dog Association might be a
perfect fit for you. Each term is for three years and Board members become involved in a
variety of activities associated with the UPSDA mission and events, including the UP200,
Midnight Run, Jack Pine 30 and the UP200 Dryland Dash.
Nominations are being taken for 3 positions on the Board which become vacant in May. Please
send your name, contact information and a brief statement indicating why you are interested in
serving on the Board, pertinent background and skills, along with any previous involvement

Anyone interested in learning more about becoming involved with the UP Sled Dog Association
is encouraged to attend the next Board meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at
the Ramada Inn in Marquette.
